Lynn Maddux

Funeral services for Lynn Merrel Maddux, 81, of Holland , will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2017 , at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.   Burial will follow at the Val Verde Cemetery .

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Maddux died Sunday, January 15, 2017 , at his home in Holland .

Mr. Maddux was born February 6, 1935 , in Holland , the son of Wilson Lynn Maddux and Addie Jane Lawson Maddux.   He worked for Rockwool Insulation for over 45 years.

He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife Sue Hickman of Holland; one son Rae Maddux and wife Lisa and wife of Temple; eight daughters Linda Drake and husband Lawrence of Belton, Carol Williams and husband Thomas of Rogers, Nellie Maddux of Austin, Melba Neeley and husband Eddie of Rogers, Ann Christian and husband Olin of Temple, Julie Grygar and husband Randy of Rogers, Misty Maddux of Temple and Tammy Hickman of Holland; one step son Larry Hock of Leander and step daughterLailani Dehart of Leander; four brothers Joe Lee Maddux of Morgans Point Resort, Douglas MacArthur Maddux of Rogers, Melvin Wilson Maddux of Cleveland and Wayne Jackson Maddux of Holland; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
