Linda Gayle Northam

Linda Gayle (Roden) Northam, 74, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Belton.

A funeral service for Mrs. Northam will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Chaplain Steve Cannon officiating. Burial will be private.

Linda was born on September 29, 1942 in Temple, Texas to Louis and Ollie (Sandifer) Roden. She was raised and attended schools in Temple. In 1988, Linda began her career as a dispatcher with the Belton Police Department. In 1998, she started working for the Bell County Communication Center and worked there until 2007, at which time she went to work for the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. Mrs. Northam retired from the BCSD in 2011.

Mrs. Northam was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Roden. She is survived by her longtime companion Joe McNamara of Belton, sons Trenton Northam of Reston, LA., and Nathan Northam of Belton, brother Jesse Roden of Lake Travis, and five grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM Saturday at Dossman Funeral Home.
