Curtis Lee Knight

Curtis Lee “Bubba” Knight, 62, entered the kingdom of heaven on Monday, March 6, 2017 in Belton. He was surrounded by his parents and siblings at home in the comfort of his room.

Bubba was born July 25, 1954, in Belton, to Bill and Marjorie Knight. His journey was a celebration of life centered around family, friends and fellowship. Everything about Bubba was a blessing including his Down Syndrome, his sense of humor, his love for God, family and country.

Bubba always loved a large gathering with friends and family celebrating annual events like the Special Olympics, Downs But Not Out Walk, 4th of July Parade, Easter, Christmas and especially his birthday.

Bubba is survived by his parents of Belton, brothers Joe Knight and his wife Debbie of Belton, and Gary Knight and his wife Vicki of Belton, and sisters Sandra Rourke and her husband Patrick of Belton, and Pamela Thompson and her husband Curtis of Salado, eleven nieces/nephews and eighteen great nieces/nephews.
