Stephen Ray Lewis, Sr.

Graveside services for Stephen Ray Lewis, Sr. 65, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 20, 2017, at the North Belton Cemetery with Michael Baggerly officiating.

Mr. Lewis died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at his home in Belton.

Mr. Lewis was born September 21, 1951, in Belton, the son of Jesse Ray Lewis and Barbara Rhoades Lewis.   He was a welder. He married Nelda Smith November 8, 2003 in Belton. Mr. Lewis loved his family. He enjoyed all his grandchildren and was their biggest fan at sporting events, school events, at everything they were involved in. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Belton.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Vera Lewis in 2002 and one sister Debra Lewis.

Survivors include his father, Jesse Ray Lewis of Cameron, mother Barbara Saxton of Lufkin, wife Nelda Lewis of Belton, one son Stephen Ray Lewis, Jr. and wife Gloria of Belton, one daughter Amber Anderson and husband Augusta of Belton, one step son Donnie Adams and wife Shannon of Brownwood and step daughter Ginger Flynn and husband Joseph of Lott. Three brothers Ricky Lewis of Holland, Mark Lewis of Belton and Kevin Lewis of Belton; ten grandchildren, Jaime, Tamara, Morgan, Thomas, Gabriel, Christina, Dalton, Wesley, Destini and Brandon and one great granddaughter Trinity “TJ”
