Private services for Alvina W. Cox, 94, of Temple will be held at a later date. Alvina passed away Friday March 31, 2017 at a Temple nursing home. She was born October 22, 1922 in Coryell County, the daughter of Albert and Dora M. (Huber) Scaff. She married Edward Coy Cox in 1942 in Louisiana. .

She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Cox.

Survivors include her Son, Coy W. Cox and wife Patsy of Morgan’s Point Resort; her daughter, Rita K. Skopek and husband Kirby of Morgan’s Point Resort; two grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
