John Cecil Wilhite, Jr.

John Cecil (Punk) Wilhite, Jr., 63, of Florence and formerly of Belton passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Florence.
Graveside services for Mr. Wilhite will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Bell Plains Cemetery near Salado, Texas with Brother Buck Love officiating.
John was born on June 16, 1953 in Belton, Texas to John Sr. and Mary Nell (Johnson) Wilhite. He was raised in Belton and graduated from Belton High School in 1971. Mr. Wilhite owned a concrete finishing company for many years in the Central Texas area. He married Lue (Love) Wilhite on February 24, 1979 in Andice, Texas.
Mr. Wilhite is survived by his wife of 38 years Lue Wilhite, son Levi Wilhite, daughter Jodi Vaughn, mother Mary Wilhite, sisters Kim Hallmark (Bill Hawthorne) and Jaurea Wilhite (Albert Svetlik), as well as one granddaughter, Ella Vaughn.
A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
