Helen Lorraine (Fish) Reinhardt, 91 of Clermont, Florida, formerly of Gloucester City, New Jersey, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Clemont.
Memorial services will be held next month in Gloucester City, NJ and Tioga County, PA.
Helen was born July 20, 1925 in Elmyra, NY the daughter of Woodford "Woody" Fish and Margaret "Maggie Fish. She married Robert Reinhardt September 30, 1961 in Bayonne, NJ and made their home in Gloucester City in 1968. Helen worked during WWII at the Corning Glass Works as a glass cutter. She held many jobs over the years, including a waitress at Topps Diner in Bayonne and a cashier at the Coast Guard Exchange in Gloucester City. She was known as the "Candy Lady" at the Berlin Farmers Mart where she was a vendor at the outside flea market for 30 years. Her proudest job was being a mom and she was a homemaker for many years while her daughter was young. She moved to Florida in 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Reinhardt in Dec 2009, by her parents and two brothers Henry Fish and Robert Fish.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Dave May, three brothers Bill Fish, Carl Fish and wife Carol and Roger Fish; two sisters Thelma McMullen and Nel Hayes and husband Hank; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
