Florence Knox

Visitation for Florence D. Knox, 88, of Troy will be at 12:30 PM Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Dossman funeral home in Belton.

Graveside services will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. With Brother Jeremy Franks officiating.

Florence was born on October 6, 1928 in Costa Mesa, California the daughter of Leo Daniels and Martha (Wendt) Daniels.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Morgan's Point and a member of  the 6522 VFW post in Bellville, Texas. Florence loved God and her Country and was a friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Knox in 2016.

Survivors include a son, James Meissner and wife Brenda; two daughters, Janice Simmons and husband Terry and Joan Mantey and husband Fred; seven grandchildren, Jarrad Meissner, Jamie Ferrel, Jason Mantey, Steven Mantey, Amy Porter, Jessica Davis and Kenneth Davis and ten great grandchildren, Kannon Meissner, Keegan Messner, Korbyn Meissner, Bryan Bales, Audrey Bales, Sam Porter, Nicky Porter, Isiah Fuentes, Bubba Fuentes and Eli Ferrel.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 2025 Morgan's Point Road Belton, Texas 76513.
