Edeltraud Wintersteen

Edeltraud D. (Heering) Wintersteen, 95, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at a Belton Nursing Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church in Belton with Father John Kim officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Edeltraud was born on June 21, 1922 in Germany. She married William Wintersteen in 1945 in California. Mrs. Wintersteen and her husband owned a mink farm in California for many years before moving to Central Texas in 1972. She co owned Wintersteen Properties in Belton with her husband until he passed away in 1989. She was also a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

A visitation will take place from 6-7 PM on Thursday evening at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. A rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM by Deacon Dave.
