Charles Wesley Jones

Charles Wesley Jones, 81, of Belton passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Belton.

A memorial service for Mr. Jones will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, July 5, 2017 from 6-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Charles was born on October 23, 1935 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Henry and Bernice (Tolle) Jones. Mr. Jones served his country in the US Army as a language specialist. He later served our children as an English/Special Education teacher and football and basketball coach at Bay City, Sugarland, and finally McGregor schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by his life partner Paula Wickham, her children, two brothers, two sons, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
