Funeral services for Jerry “Lee Bob” Ellison, 67, of Moffat, will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Moffat Cemetery .

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday 6 -8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Ellison died Thursday, August 3, 2017 in the CLC at the Temple V. A. Hospital .

Mr. Ellison was born December 25, 1949 in Temple , the son of William Lloyd Ellison and Jeraldine “Jerry” (Van Winkle) Ellison. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Locomotive Engineer for the BNSF Railroad. He was a long time member of the Central Texas American Pool Players Association, the Bowling Association and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineer and Trainman with the Railroad (BLET). He married Sarah “Sue” Herod in 1992 in Alvin .

Survivors include his wife Sarah “Sue” Ellison of Moffat, two sons Trevor Ellison of Manassas, Virginia and Andy Posey and wife Ashley of Lorena; two daughters Sue Ann Ellison of Sweeny and Kathie Wright and husband Bill of Denison, one brother Bryce Ellison and wife Deborah of Moffat; three sisters Randy Ekberg and husband Steve of Anna, Connie Easley and husband Gary of Hammond, Louisiana, and Vicki McComack and husband Richard of Pottsboro. 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
