Sandy Johnston

Memorial services for Sandy Johnston, 71, of Salado , will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 , at the Salado United Methodist Church with Rev. David Mosser officiating.

Mrs. Johnston passed from this life to the next surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her home in Salado .

Mrs. Johnston was born July 18, 1946 in Dallas the daughter of William John Shaw IV and Batista Fay Simpson Shaw.   She married Terry Johnston October 10, 1968 in Earth, TX.  They moved from Dallas to Salado in 1982.  She was an artist, decorator and homemaker.  She was full of life and had a joy that was contagious.  She was a long time member of Salado United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Terry Johnston of Salado , son Brady Johnston of Midlothian and his wife, Annie and daughter Shawn Wolff of Dripping Springs and her husband, Todd.  One sister Billie Sue Scales of Salado and her husband David , and four grandchildren: Austin and Tyler Wolff, Kinsley and Emerson Johnston.  Two nephews Taylor Hutton of Bothel, WA and Trey Hutton of Dallas and their families.

Memorials may be made to the Salado United Methodist Church Youth Department, where she gave many years of faithful service.
