Billy Jack Parker

Mr. Billy “Jack” Parker, 86, of Killeen , died Saturday, September 2, 2017 in a Harker Heights Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening, September 7, 2017 , from 6-8 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Parker was born January 23, 1931 in Belton, the son of William and Winnie Lou (Nichols) Parker. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U. S. Navy on the USS Saint Paul. He worked for Civil Service as a painter and retired from the IJO Shop as a supervisor in 1992.

Mr. Parker raced motorcycles and had a passion for riding and country and western dancing.

Survivors include his son Gary Parker and wife Joy of Livingston, three brothers Larry Parker of Belton, Charles Parker of Belton and Dick Parker of Lampasas, one sister Vickie Mauldin of Salado and one grandson Thomas Parker of Grand Prairie .

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
