Isidro Ramos Ruiz

Isidro Ramos Ruiz, 83, of Belton passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home in Belton.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Father John Kim officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Isidro was born on May 15, 1934 in Buda, Texas to Cipriano and Felecita (Ramos) Ruiz. He was raised in San Antonio and moved to Belton in 1952. Mr. Ruiz married Ermila Dominguez in 1951 and she preceded him in death in 1973. He married Fernanda Rodriguez in 1976 and they were married until he passed away. Isidro worked in the concrete business for Odell Geer Construction and Fred Bandas Construction before he retired in 1998. He was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Survivors include his wife Fernanda of Belton, sons Michael Ruiz of Ft. Worth, Ricky Ruiz of Belton, and Ronald Ruiz of Pflugerville, daughters Diane Forough of Buda and Becky Grimalda of Temple, a sister Jacinta Wadell of San Antonio, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 6-7 PM, and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM by Deacon Armando Agguirre at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
