Dana Dobson

Dana (Racevicius) Dobson, 71, of Salado passed away on Monday, October 24, 2017 at her home in Salado.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dana was born in Germany on April 5, 1946 to Bruno and Elena (Sukauskaite) Racevicius. She moved to Chicago when she was two and attended Catholic schools there. She graduated from a Catholic High School and received her Associate's Degree from Bogan Junior College in Chicago. Mrs. Dobson worked at Purdue University for many years before moving to the Salado area. She married Raymond Dobson, Jr. on February 15, 1969 in Chicago. She was a Jehova's Witness.

She is survived by her husband of Salado, sons Darryl Dobson of Lake Station, Indiana and Paul Dobson of Montreal, Canada, daughter Cristina Trowbridge of Valparasio, Indiana, her sister Elana Trumblay of Merrill, Wisconsin, and two grandchildren Lucinda Dobson and Kailo Dobson.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
