Dorothy Lisenbe

Services for Dorothy Lisenbe, 88, of Belton, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Kenneth Lisenbe officiating.

Mrs. Lisenbe died Saturday October 28, 2017 at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Lisenbe was born September 22, 1929 in Belton, Texas, the daughter of U.E. and Edna Fay (Hogan) Forrest. She married Rae Lisenbe in Littler River on July 11, 1950.  She retired from the City of Belton water department and was a member of the SPJST and the Catfish Association of Academy Little River.

She is preceded in death by her husband in January of 2017 and two brothers Dean and Lewis Forrest.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Lisenbe and wife Julie of Temple; a daughter, Denise Brown and husband Ronnie of Belton; five grandchildren, Derreck, Del, Ronnie, Jr., Samantha and Billy Rae; nine great-grand children, Raenah, Pecos, Dylan, Bentley, Kutter, Lexi, Jaya, Caitlin, and Cade and many nieces and nephews.
