Thornton "Buddy" Leach

Funeral services for Thornton "Buddy" Leach, 81, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Belton with Jim Baggerly officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, November 19 from 5 to 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Leach died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home in Belton.

Mr. Leach was born September 22, 1936, in Belton, the son of Thomas Thornton and Lee Etta (Perry) Leach.  He married Karen Yerby on June 12, 1971 in Gatesville. He attended the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kerri Lynn Puckett;  three brothers, V.I. Leach, Ollie Hugh Leach and Victor Leach; four sisters, Geneva Moore, Edna Herring, Karen Leach and Florine Leach.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; a son, James Leach and wife Belenda of Allen, Texas; a sister, Mary Mollica of Colorado; three grandchildren, Rachel Stevanovic, Brock Leach and Benjamin Leach and four great grandchildren, Paige Leach, Ivy Leach, Caden Leach and Hunter Leach.
