Charles M. Dalton

Funeral services for Charles Monroe Dalton, 76, of Belton will be held at 10:00 AM Monday January 22, 2018 at Belton Church of Christ with Ritchie Hamm officiating.

Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Dalton died Thursday January 18, 2018 at his home in Belton.

Mr. Dalton was born May 15, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas, the son of Milton Dalton and Mary (Johnson) Ripple. He married Rosie Cantu on July 14, 1975 in Oklahoma City.

He was a member of Belton Church of Christ, the West Texas Music Hall of Fame and was a former president of the Texas Barbed Wire Collectors association.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bobby Dalton and a grandson, Clayton Dalton.

Survivors include his wife Rosie Dalton; two sons, Gary Dalton and wife Sandy and Jamie Dalton and wife Lisa; a daughter, Terri Dalton Miller and husband Alan; a sister, Brenda Looper; ten grandchildren, Kristen Gross, Michael Gross and Shelby Dalton, Stefan Schmid, Aubrey Tipton, Margie Tipton, Preston Tipton, Kristina Stanley, Ron Kundinger and Matthew Johnson and one great grandchild, Oren Grosjean

Visitation will be held Sunday January 21, 2018 form 5 PM to 7 PM at Dossman funeral home in Belton.
