Allen L Oltmer

Allen Lynn Oltmer, 67, of Belton passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at a Temple hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Sam Callaway and Gary Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton.

Allen was born on July 15, 1950 in Oceanside, California to Lavern and Margery (Nelson) Oltmer. He graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mr. Oltmer moved to Belton in 1986 and opened Sunbelt RV Center with his parents alongside the Belton KOA Campground in Belton, and he owned and operated Sunbelt until he passed away. Allen married Ollie Holt on November 25, 1989 in Belton. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton.

Mr. Oltmer is survived by his wife Ollie of Belton, sons Douglas Oltmer and his wife Mandy of Alabama and Barrett Oltmer of Alabama, daughter Erika Mendoza and her husband Gil of Belton, and sister Alice Zimmerman and her husband Gary of Gatesville. Also surviving are grandchildren Shelby Oltmer, Bentley Oltmer, Hunter Oltmer, Britton Oltmer, Maddox Mendoza, and Madelyn Mendoza.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
