Richard Dod Campbell

Services for Richard “Dod” Campbell, 82, of Temple will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. He will be laid to rest at Moffat Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Campbell passed away on Wednesday, February 21, at a local nursing home.

He was born on July 29, 1935 in Placerville, California to George and Helen Campbell. He served in the US Navy from June 1953 to July 1956. Mr. Campbell worked for Texas Instruments and later for E.R. Carpenter. He married Neecie Thompson on November 19, 1982 in Temple.

Dod was preceded in death by his parents and his stepson, Bryan Harmon.

Survivors include his wife Neecie; son Bill Campbell and wife Lisa; stepson Kevin Harmon and wife Janice; daughter Lynn White and husband Ray; brother David Campbell and wife Betty; sister Bonnie Milbrodt and husband Dick. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, New York, 10001.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
