Mary A. Dominguez

Funeral services for Mary Antonia Dominguez, 76, of Belton, will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, March 16, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father John Kim officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

A Rosary will be recited at 7 PM Thursday at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Dominguez died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Dominguez was born June 16, 1941 in Alice, the daughter of Alfredo Benavidez, Sr. and Beatrice (Garza) Benavidez. She married David Gonzalez Dominguez May 24, 1960 in Belton. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband and infant son, David Gonzalez Dominguez, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters Alice Lane of Belton and Annette Gonzalez and husband Rudy of Morgan’s Point Resort; two brothers Alfredo Benavidez Jr. of Cameron and Tomas Benavidez of Belton; two sisters Viola McCann of Haskell, Oklahoma and Gloria Gonzales of Temple; four grandchildren Nicolas Lane, Audra Lane, Karra Garza and Alyssa Gonzalez; and three great grandchildren, Dominik, Julian and Zeke.
