Hank Sniggs

Robert Henry "Hank" Sniggs, Jr., 79, of Temple passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at a Temple nursing home.

Funeral services for Hank will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Delaney officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton.

Hank was born on January 7, 1939 in Delta, Colorado to Robert Sr. and Nellie Irene (Taylor) Sniggs. He grew up in Biggs, California and graduated from Biggs Union High School in Biggs, California. Mr. Sniggs joined the Army in 1961 and served until 1963. After his military service, Mr. Sniggs moved to the Central Texas area, settling in Temple. He began working for Wilsonart in 1969 and retired from there in 1994. Hank married Frankie Hosch on March 28, 1964 in Belton and they were married for 50 years before she passed away in 2014. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Temple.

Hank was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by five sons, Darron Sniggs and his wife Connie of Salado, Chris Sniggs and his wife Deborah of Moffat, Eric Sniggs and his wife Lisa of Belton, Glynn Sniggs and his wife Tracie of Temple, and Anthony Sniggs and his wife Misty of Salado, a daughter Brenda Sniggs-Brown and her husband Jason of Temple, and a sister Susie Barnes.  Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, Darron Sniggs Jr., Craig Sniggs and his wife Lisa, Stephen Sniggs and his fiance Jessica Denman, Jordan Sniggs Rhea and her husband Justin, Kimberlie Sniggs, Madison Sniggs, Mason Sniggs, Taylor Nash, Kathryn Sniggs, Sarah Sniggs, Ashlee Heller, Chad Heller, Ashten Sniggs, Andrew Sniggs, Peyton Sniggs.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
