Harold Gene Beck

Harold Gene Beck, 87, of Temple died Friday March 23, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mr. Beck was born July 12, 1930 in Lamesa, Texas, the son of Abner Berry and Mamie (Montgomery) Beck. He married Dorothy McAnally on November 10, 1949 in Lamesa, Texas, they moved to Temple to start a family in 1965. He worked at Piggly Wiggly for 30 years and retired as Produce Manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jimmy Beck, and a daughter, Gloria Beck.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Beck, four sons, Larry Beck and wife Amy of Salado, Keith Beck and wife Susan of Troy, Jack Beck and wife Elke of Temple, and Joe Beck of Troy; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
