Wayne M. Cole, Jr.

Funeral services for Wayne M. Cole, Jr., 72, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Dewey Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends for visitation from 5-7 Monday evening at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Cole died Thursday, May 10, 2018 in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Cole was born December 22, 1945, in Hillsboro, the son of Wayne M. Cole, Sr. and Wanda (Barger) Cole. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U. S. Army for more than 20 years.   Mr. Cole married Cindy Koehler December 23, 1980 in Anniston, Alabama.

He has lived in Bell County for over 30 years, where he was Past Director of the Horny Toad Harley Owners Group in Temple and a member in Killeen. He also was a member of the Temple Gun Club serving on the Board of Directors and served as Past President. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton

Survivors include his wife Cindy Cole of Temple, two sons Michael Cole and Robert Wayne Stanford; and one daughter Cynthia Cole; one sister Mary Ann Cole and five grandchildren.
