Karron Ziegler

Karron Moore-Thompson (Grammy) was born August 30, 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany to William and Opal Moore.  She was a member of East Highway Baptist church for many years, where her father preached periodically. She worked for some time, but, more than anything, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to mothering her own children, she served as a surrogate Grammy to other family members after the loss of her sisters.

Karron married Earl Thompson on March 18, 1974 and eventually had two daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; daughter,  Jannifer Owens, of Arizona and her husband, Jeremy; her daughter, Kelly Thompson; her grandsons, Alex, RJ, and Russell; her granddaughters, Maurissa and Krissie; and two great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister and three brothers, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 5/30, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, followed by a memorial service on Thursday, 5/31, at 10:00 am.
