Loretta Lamanda Townsend

Loretta Lamanda " Mandy" Townsend, 58, of Belton passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Harker Heights.

Funeral services for Mandy will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Jimmy Vanloozen officiating. Burial will follow in Pendleton Cemetery near Pendleton.

Mandy was born on August 21, 1959 to Patrick and Loretta (Thompson) Hesser in Norman, Oklahoma and later moved to the Houston area. Mrs. Townsend married Bo Townsend and he preceded her in death in 2014. Mrs. Townsend worked as a Belton Police Officer and later as a legal administrator for Mike Miller and was currently working for Baird, Crews, Shiller, and Whitaker Law Firm in Temple. Mandy was a member of the Freedom Road Biker Church in Nolanville.

Mrs. Townsend is survived by daughters Tammy Rogers and her husband David of Temple and Terry Townsend of Lubbock, step son Bobby Townsend of Troy, step daughters Pamela Shafer and her husband Will of Troy and Sherri Williamson of Belton, and a brother Leroy Hesser of Temple. Also surviving are grandchildren Mackenzie Rogers, Lilyan Graves, Selah Graves, Eliana Rogers, Crystal Knox, Shaina Mikel, Andrew Shafer, Shane Williamson, and Clayton Townsend.

A visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
